Development Progress Newsletter

Summer 2018

Jon Moxon, Business Development Manager at Hoseasons (left) Mark Rowe (right)

After a muddy Spring, the sun has finally arrived and helped the development move forward. The contractors have fitted the beautiful decking and the hot tubs have arrived and are being installed as this newsletter is being written. While the installation of the interior solid oak range of interior furniture is being organised, the finer details and home comforts for each lodge are being purchased.

I am also pleased to announce that a three year agreement between ourselves and Hoseasons was signed in July. This means that Hoseasons will exclusively market the resort for rental to the public. We chose Hoseasons for their clear expertise in the UK holiday park arena – they have over 300 holiday lodge sites throughout the UK, so we feel that we are in safe hands.

Soft opening: lodge testers wanted

Before we open to the general public, we would like to invite our Limited Partners to stay in the lodges to review the accommodation.  This will be a one week period of testing, and we envisage that each stay would be a maximum of three nights. As there are only 13 lodges launching, we will operate the booking requests on a ballot basis. We are looking for a comprehensive written report, please, so that we can assess what might need to be improved/changed before we open to the public.

If you would be available sometime in September (actual dates TBA) to be a lodge tester, then please email
Info@StaycationLodges.co.uk to request that your name is entered into the ballot. There is no cost to you for the accommodation, but you would be responsible for your own travel arrangements.

Home Comforts

The interiors are being fitted out as I write this. These include flat screen TVs with Freeview downstairs and in every bedroom, family board games, selections of books, kettles, toasters, glasses, crockery and cutlery, beautiful solid oak furniture and premium quality linen and bathroom products. Lodges will also include welcome food and drink packages to give a great first impression and make guests want to return time and time again.
